2014 Lelarge-Pugeot Champagne Rosé Extra Brut Pinot Noir
Champagne Lelarge-Peugeot is produced from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from 30‐year‑old vines in Vrigny, a Premier Cru village in Montagne de Reims. Cultivated under organic and biodynamic practices, the wine is crafted by the traditional method. In one process variant, the Pinot Noir is partially macerated in tanks for six months with an addition of 5% red wine from the same harvest (2014), then bottled (April 2015) for secondary fermentation and extended lees aging of approximately 7–8 years before disgorgement (May 2023) with a dosage of 2 g/L. These winemaking techniques underscore a commitment to reflecting terroir and vintage character while employing precise production methods.

Harvest
Grapes are cultivated to express the pure essence of terroir under natural conditions.
Fermentation
Primary fermentation proceeds in stainless steel tanks for approximately six months using indigenous (spontaneous) yeast, with no fining. A minor proportion of red wine (5–7% Coteaux Champenois Rouge, with vintages noted as 2011, 2012, and 2014) is incorporated during blending. The vinification follows the Traditional Method, including secondary fermentation in bottle (tirage).
Aging
Extended lees aging is employed, ranging from 3 to 8 years (commonly 7 years en tirage or in bottle) prior to disgorgement. Disgorgement dates include March 2021 and May 2023, with a typical dosage of 2 g/L and a reported free SO₂ level of 27 ppm in one instance.
