2016 Luigi Tecce Taurasi Riserva Poliphemo Vecchie Vigne

Luigi Tecce’s Taurasi wines are produced in Campania using Aglianico grapes sourced from vineyards of exceptional age—ranging from 80-year-old vines to centenarian “vine-trees” historically planted by his grandfather, with some vineyards managed organically. The winemaking process employs extended macerations in open vats and fermentation in chestnut barrels for certain releases, followed by an aging period of 24 months in medium-sized barrels. Some bottlings carry the Riserva designation, underscoring traditional production methods and the winery’s Triple “A” credentials.
