2018 Benoît Déhu La Rue Des Noyers Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature

A collection of grower Champagnes is produced from distinguished vineyard sites in the Vallée de la Marne. One expression originates from a 1.70‐hectare parcel in Fossoy, with Pinot Meunier grapes sourced from the Rue des Noyers vineyard. This single‐plot cuvée is crafted entirely from Pinot Meunier, vinified in small oak barrels and matured on lees for 11 months using minimal intervention methods; it is unfined, unfiltered, and produced without any dosage. In a parallel expression, Benoit Dehu’s Cuvée La Rue des Noyers Brut Nature [2018] is a Blanc de Blancs made from 100% Chardonnay, exemplifying minimal intervention through meticulous production practices that maintain purity and reflect terroir. Additionally, a Blanc de Noirs Champagne is produced using biodynamic practices and features oak barrel aging with low or no dosage, further emphasizing a commitment to vineyard expression and precise winemaking techniques.
