2018 Sarazinniere Les Devants Macon Bussieres Rouge

A Gamay from the southern Mâcon region in Burgundy, sourced from old vines averaging 60 years old, including centenary plots planted by the winemaker's great-grandfather. The domaine specializes in single parcel bottlings that showcase unique terroir. Vines are rooted in limestone subsoil, digging deep into the bedrock to express racy and vibrant qualities characteristic of the Maconnais. The wine is aged in various-sized used barrels to emphasize specific terroir qualities, resulting in a pure, precise, and multi-faceted expression.
