2018 Sonshine 'Beau Gosse' Cabernet Franc
100% Cabernet Franc from Chinon in the Loire Valley's Touraine region. 'Beau Gosse' translates as 'handsome guy'—an homage to a dear friend of Lisanne's who passed away in 2016. Grapes were destemmed by hand and macerated for 14 days in tank with soft punchdowns performed by hand and foot at the beginning of fermentation. The wine underwent 10 months of élevage in old barriques with minimal sulphur at bottling. Organically farmed. Unfiltered.
