2019 Coupe Roses Minervois Vignals

Château Coupe Roses is managed by the Le Calvez family in the highest growing zones of the Minervois appellation. Their vineyards are located in Le Causse and Le Petit Causse—limestone outcroppings at 750 to 1,350 feet above sea level that support garrigue, olives, and vines. These elevated zones experience relatively cool nights and the longest growing season in the AOC, resulting in wines with excellent acidity and freshness. The wine is hand-picked, destemmed, and receives light pigeage before aging in stainless steel. Deliciously medium-weight, fresh, spicy, long, and infused with garrigue.
