2019 Domaine des Clos Beaune 1er Cru Les Avaux

This wine is sourced from the Beaune premier cru vineyard, Les Avaux, located just south of the road leading up to Bouze-lès-Beaune. The vineyard’s terroir features a relatively thin topsoil of cracked chalky clay interspersed with cailloux. The winemaking process produces a wine with a balanced, gently structured profile and a cellaring potential of 8 to 12 years.
