2020 Andre Mathieu Chateauneuf de Pape Rouge Tradition

This wine is produced from 9 hectares of vineyards established across several terroirs in the appellation, where all 13 authorized grape varieties are cultivated. The vines, with an average age of about 65 years, predominantly consist of Grenache and Mourvèdre, supplemented by smaller percentages of the other eleven permitted varietals. Employing traditional vinification methods, the wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in old foudre barrels, reflecting the appellation’s established production techniques and terroir-specific practices.
