2020 Barmes-Buecher Crémant d'Alsace

French Crémant d’Alsace is produced using traditional methods from biodynamically grown grapes sourced from distinct Alsatian terroirs—the clay‐limestone hillsides of Wettolsheim and the sandy loamy plains of Turckheim and Colmar. The wine is crafted as a blend of Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, and Chardonnay, and is available in both Brut and Brut Nature styles. Its production features a long secondary fermentation and a bottle maturation period of 19 months before disgorgement (notably in November 2022), reflecting a precise, minimal‐intervention approach that emphasizes the authentic expression of vintage, terroir, and varietal character.
