2020 Barmes-Buecher Riesling Clos Sand

Domaine Barmès-Buecher, established in 1985 in Wettolsheim near Colmar by François Barmès and Geneviève Buecher, is now run by Geneviève and her children. The Riesling Clos Sand 2020 is produced from Riesling grapes grown in the Clos Sand site, situated near the top of Grand Cru Steingrübler. This elevated position provides the advantage of slower ripening, resulting in wines marked by great focus, nuance, and acidity with a crystalline, saline character.
