2020 Domaine Meteore Rouge
This Rhône blend is composed of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre from the Faugeres appellation. The wine combines mineral notes of ink and hearth, with cocoa beans, Sichuan pepper and a hint of menthol, reflecting the distinctive schist terroir. Rich with a freshness to the finish. The Grenache is aged in stainless steel vats for 18 months, while the Syrah and Mourvèdre mature in 500L oak barrels for the same period before blending just prior to bottling. ABV: 14%
