2020 Francois Chidaine Montlouis Brut

A traditional method sparkling Chenin Blanc crafted from biodynamically farmed vines aged 30-90 years, grown on limestone and chalk soils overlaid with clay and coarse flint. The wine is naturally fermented in demi-muids before undergoing its second fermentation in bottle and resting on its lees for 18 months. The result is a bone-dry, carefully made aperitif style, taut and lively with an assertive fizz.
