2020 Ganevat Le Clos Savagnin

Le Clos is an exceptional single-parcel Arbois Savagnin from the Jura, crafted from old vines planted on grey marl covered with limestone scree. This south-facing vineyard imparts remarkable telluric intensity and mineral precision to the wine. The estate has been family-owned since 1650 and is certified biodynamic since 2014. Vinified naturally using indigenous yeasts with direct pressing, the wine undergoes over three years of aging on lees in neutral demi-muids without fining, filtration, or added sulfur. A natural light deposit and gas may be present; decanting is recommended. Vin de Négoce vinifié au Domaine.
