2020 Ganevat Les Cedres Chardonnay

Jean-François Ganevat's Les Cèdres is a Chardonnay from old vines planted on marl-limestone terroir in the Côtes du Jura. Recognized as one of the masters of the Jura, Ganevat vinifies this cuvée using naturally occurring yeasts and ages it on lees in barrels for two to three years with ouillage. The wine is produced organically without added sulfur, clarification, or filtering, resulting in natural sediment. Decanting may be beneficial. This wine expresses the authentic character of its Jurassian terroir with notable aging potential.
