2020 Ghëddo Barolo DOCG

The Barolo DOCG 2020 is produced by Ghëddo, a rising star of Barolo operating from a centuries-old cellar in Monforte d'Alba with a tasting room in La Morra. The wine is obtained from a selection of Nebbiolo grapes from three hectares of vineyards in La Morra at 350 meters above sea level with south-west exposure, produced at miniscule scale. It is aged for two years in French oak barrels and subsequently in bottle, developing complexity and structure. The wine displays gritty limestone and crushed bedrock characteristics reflective of its terroir.
