2020 Vina Zorzal Malayeto

Malayeto is a single vineyard Garnacha from vines averaging 35-40 years of age grown on complex limestone soils with gravel and rocky clay. The estate-grown, certified organic fruit comes from a 2.39 hectare plot. The wine is vinified in tank and aged in cellar conditions. Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and fresh at 13.4-14% alcohol, this bottling showcases pure, polished Garnacha character. The limestone terroir imparts distinctive chalky minerality and natural acidity. Ageworthy structure requires cellaring to allow the ripe tannins to soften before drinking with full generosity.
