2021 Baxter Pinot Noir Black Label Anderson Valley

This wine is produced from vineyards in Mendocino, The Baxters, and Anderson Valley. Under the guidance of Phil Baxter, a winemaker trained in Burgundy’s "French Cellar" methods and experienced in producing notable wines in Pommard, the wine reflects a minimalist intervention approach that emphasizes terroir. Baxter practices organic viticulture in every vineyard he works with and employs aged oak—barrels that have not been replaced for over 10 years—to refine the winemaking process. The Anderson Valley source contributes varietal characteristics typical of Pinot Noir, adding to the distinctive expression of its diverse vineyard origins.
