2021 Bodet-Herold Physis Cremant de Loire Extra Brut
This Crémant de Loire is produced from 90% Chenin Blanc and 10% Grolleau. The grapes are pressed whole cluster at low temperatures and fermented using native yeast. After brief aging in stainless steel, the wine undergoes 30 months of bottle aging, developing complexity reminiscent of great Champagnes while maintaining its distinctive Loire Valley character. This vintage sparkling wine represents one of the higher-quality expressions from the Loire region.
