2021 Domaine Cruchandeau Beaune Les Bons Feuvres

This wine is produced in Burgundy by Julien Cruchandeau, whose expertise emphasizes the unique expression of terroir from under-celebrated appellations. The grapes are sourced from two separate east-facing vineyards spanning a total of 2.5 hectares, where yields are intentionally kept very low. In the winery, native yeast fermentation is employed and the vinification process is split between two stainless steel tanks—one utilizing 90% whole cluster processing and the other handling 100% destemmed fruit. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 15 months on lees in stainless steel, with an additional decanting period of approximately two hours prior to service.
