2021 Emiliano Falsini Etna Rosso Feudo Pignatone

Feudo Pignatone Rosso is produced from organically farmed Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the northern slope of Mount Etna in the contrada Feudo Pignatone (municipality of Randazzo) at approximately 700 metres altitude. The vineyards include century‐old vines—ranging from 30 to over 100 years in age—and employ meticulous hand selection of grape bunches. Winemaking techniques involve a proportion of whole-bunch fermentation (around 30% in some cases) and separate vinification of individual parcels, ensuring that the distinct characteristics of each vineyard site and the dynamic, volcanic terroir are accurately expressed.
