2021 Frenchtown Cotillion Red Wine

50% Syrah and 50% Grenache from Renaissance Vineyard in North Yuba. The grapes were 100% destemmed by hand, resulting in mostly intact berries. Instead of traditional punchdowns, the must was progressively foot-stomped at 10% each morning and night for 5 days. The wine was aged in old French barrels for 12 months, with 18ppm SO2 added at bottling only. A red blend noted for its balance.
