2021 Lammidia Rosato Abruzzo Rosé

A natural and experimental rosé from Abruzzo, Italy, crafted by childhood friends Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani who turned to winemaking with unconventional, hands-on methods and deep passion for natural wine. Made from a co-fermented blend of Montepulciano, Pecorino, and Trebbiano, this darker-colored rosé is hazy with a lively, acidic character and slight effervescence. The winemakers rely on trial and error and even incorporate a traditional ritual to dispel the evil eye. The wine reflects the mountain terroir of Abruzzo with its wild forest character and funky, unfiltered style.
