2021 L'Archetipo Aglianico IGP Puglia
100% Aglianico from southern Puglia is produced biodynamically using a pergola training system. The hand-harvested grapes are crushed and destemmed before undergoing several weeks of maceration and pressing. Fermentation occurs spontaneously, followed by aging in stainless steel vessels. The wine is then bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal added SO2. Additionally, the producer is recognized as a Triple 'A' operation, with the wine typically priced at approximately $20 per 750ml bottle.
