2021 Machatho Cuchufli
This wine is a blend of 60% País and 40% Moscatel. The País grapes come from the 150+-year-old Pilen Alto vineyard near Cauquenes in the Maule valley, where vines are planted on clay loam soils, while the Moscatel originates from vines established in 1900 near Ranquil on granitic soils. Each varietal is fermented separately with approximately 20 days of skin contact. The wine is produced unfined, unfiltered, and without additional SO2, and is bottled at 11% ABV.
