2021 Marcel Deiss Alsace Riquewihr

A blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc from Marcel Deiss in Alsace's Riquewihr. The 2021 vintage was harvested from parcels along Grand Cru Schoenenbourg, the exposed side of Grand Cru Sporen, and parcels towards Kientzheim, including sites at Engelsreben and Rosenbourg. The siliceous superficial framework of these soils resting on deep marls produces a wine that is mineral-driven, salivating, precise, and aristocratic in its youth, with substantial aging potential.
