2021 Pedralonga Tinto do Umia

Tinto DoUmia is a red wine produced under D.O. Rías Baixas and crafted from a blend of 70% Mencía, 20% Caiño, and 10% Espadeiro. The grapes are grown on thirty‐year‐old vines planted on sandy, alluvial plots at the foot of the Pedralonga slope. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel vats using native yeasts with partial whole‐cluster techniques, and the wine is aged on the lees for at least one year. It is produced without oak and is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Annual production is approximately 8,000 bottles available in 75cl and Magnum (1.5l) formats, with vineyard yields averaging around 4,500 Kg/Ha and an alcohol content of 12% vol.
