2021 Sylvie Augereau Anjou Blanc Pulpes

Sylvie Augereau's Anjou Blanc Pulpes is a biodynamic Chenin Blanc crafted from centenary vines grown on limestone soils in the Loire Valley's Anjou region. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts through direct press to tank and barrel. The wine is aged in barrels for 2 years and bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur. This artisanal approach reveals the authentic character of the terroir, producing a wine with superb balance, depth, and complexity that is ageworthy for more than ten years.
