2021 Thévenet Beaujolais Blanc Terrain Rouge

Jean-Paul Thévenet, based in Régnié, is renowned for elegant Gamay from old vines, many over 90 years old. This rare Beaujolais Blanc is 100% Chardonnay from a small parcel called 'Terrain Rouge' in the southern portion of the region, distinguished by its red clay soils. In classic Thévenet fashion, the wine is bright and energetic, offering the deep complexity and intensity rarely found in Beaujolais whites.
