2021 Thévenet Beaujolais Blanc Terrain Rouge

Jean Paul Thévenet’s Beaujolais Blanc is produced exclusively from Chardonnay grown on a small, distinctive parcel known as Terrain Rouge, located in the southern part of the Beaujolais region encompassing Régnié and Morgon. The vineyard is notable for its high proportion of mature vines—many over 90 years old—that express the region’s red clay soils. Thévenet’s approach emphasizes traditional vineyard practices and a close expression of terroir, reflecting the unique characteristics of his home village.
