2021 Villa Dora Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco Vigna del Vulcano

Villa Dora is the passion of Vincenzo Ambrosio and is now helmed by his nephew Vincenzo Orabona. The organically farmed vineyards are located on the lower southern slopes of Mt. Vesuvius within the National Park at 250-300m above sea level on volcanic soil. Vines were planted in 1950. This Vesuvio wine is a blend of Caprettone (80%) and Falanghina (20%), producing a distinctively flavorful wine noted for its smoky, matchstick minerality characteristic of the volcanic terroir.
