2022 Anonimas Catro e Cadela Mencía

A red wine made from 100% Mencía grape variety from vines averaging 50 years old in the Chantada sub-zone of Ribeira Sacra in southwest Galicia. Mencía is known for its extraordinary acidity and special aromas that provide wines with a remarkable Atlantic character. This wine is a project by Cris Yagüe Cuevas and Maria Falcón, created as a tribute to anonymous women who should have had their place in history. The project collaborates with women growers, winemakers, and enologists throughout the wine world to produce these personal wines.
