2022 Chateau du Cedre Cahors du Cedre

An organic blend from the renowned Cahors region in Southwest France, composed of 90% Malbec with Tannat and Merlot. The grapes are sourced from a 27-hectare estate vineyard planted across three parcels, with vines aged 30+ years growing on limestone plateau and Mindel high terraces. These Malbec-based expressions undergo extended aging in oak barrels and 57HL casks, resulting in polished, remarkably balanced wines that capture the beautiful Lot terroir. The wine is dry with 14.5% alcohol content and offers considerable aging potential, with a drinking window of 2024-2028.
