2022 Emidio Pepe Trebbiano

The 2022 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is produced from an ancient indigenous grape variety from Abruzzo, representing a unique clone distinct from other members of its family. The wine is crafted using white grapes that are foot trodden in wooden tubs, with subtle maceration releasing skin characteristics into the juice for added textural complexity. This results in a slightly golden-hued, well-balanced wine with beautiful acidity and elegant minerality. The wine demonstrates excellent ageworthy potential, capable of evolving with time to gain complexity, volume and profoundness.
