2022 Georges Laval Cumieres

Vincent Laval produces around 800 cases of Champagne annually from pristine, tiny plots west of Épernay. This Cumières bottling, the core wine in their lineup, was not produced in 2021 but returned with the 2022 vintage. An equal-parts blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay from plots around the village of Cumières, the wine is aged in neutral oak for 6 months and disgorged with no added sugar after 18 months. It showcases Laval's round, wine-like style and is designed to develop further complexity with aging.
