2022 Guímaro Ribeira Sacra Blanco

Produced by Pedro Rodríguez of Adegas Guímaro, one of the first wineries to join the Ribeira Sacra appellation in 1996. This Godello is cultivated in the region's steep terraced vineyards, among the most picturesque and challenging in the world since Roman times. The grapes are hand-harvested from vines over 50 years old planted on slate soils at 300-350m elevation. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using native yeasts, with malolactic conversion blocked, and bottled without fining or filtering.
