2022 Karim Vionnet Du Beur Dans Les Pinards Blanc

Karim Vionnet's Beaujolais-Villages Du Beur dans les Pinards (literally Butter in the Spinach, a French idiom for a welcome bonus) is a pure Gamay expression from a parcel that formerly belonged to Jules Chauvet, father of the French natural wine movement. Produced using natural viticulture methods with traditional full carbonic maceration, spontaneous fermentation, no oak, and minimal sulphur. This wine demonstrates excellent aging potential, capable of improving over 7-8 years. The wine name celebrates Karim's North African origins and represents a link between different cultures through wine. Recommended serving temperature is 15-18°C in tulip glasses.
