Bajta Belo is a skin contact wine from the Kobal winery in the Štajerska region of Slovenia, part of Lower Styria on the Austrian border. The blend comprises Pinot Gris (Sivi Pinot), Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Traminer. The wine undergoes 2 months of maceration with skins, followed by 2 years of aging in neutral barrels. This amber-colored wine offers a great introduction to the skin contact style with delicate, integrated tannins, fresh acidity, and a dry, balanced profile.
