2022 Lecointre Anjou Avant-Garde

This wine is a French Middle Loire red primarily crafted from Cabernet Franc. Sourced from two vineyard parcels in Champ‐sur‐Layon spanning nearly 10.5 acres with plantings dating from 1997 and 2007, it reflects the terroir of the Anjou region. Vinified entirely in tanks to preserve its fresh character, the wine is produced as the domaine’s vin de soif—designed for early consumption (ideally served slightly chilled)—with an annual production averaging approximately 500 cases. Notably, it received a Gold Medal at the Interloire – Vins du Val de Loire 2015 competition.
