2022 Mabileau Chenin des Rouilleres

This Chenin Blanc is cultivated in the Loire Valley, with vineyards established on sandy‐gravel soils on the eastern side of Anjou—including the Rouilleres site managed by Frederic Mabileau. It is produced under certified biodynamic (Biodyvin) standards, and approximately one-third of the fruit is held on the skins for a few days prior to fermentation. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on the lees in 50‑hectolitre foudres. These integrated vineyard and winemaking practices, which emphasize terroir expression and structured vinification techniques, define the character of this Chenin Blanc.
