2022 Matthiasson Pinot Meunier Yount Mill

Matthiasson’s Yountmill Vineyard Pinot Meunier is a still red wine from California’s Napa Valley, produced from Pinot Meunier grapes grown in the organically farmed Yount Mill Vineyard. Originally planted for sparkling wine production, the 2022 750 ml vintage is vinified using a process that includes fermenting with 50% whole clusters in a small open‐top tank and conducting two manual punch downs per day, a technique that reflects influences from Beaujolais-style practices. The wine’s production spans multiple vintages, having been crafted initially in 2015 and subsequently in 2018, 2020, and 2022.
