2022 Maugeri Etna Bianco Superiore Contrada Praino 'Frontemare'

Produced from 100% Carricante grapes grown on Etna’s sea‐facing eastern slope at elevations between 700 and 900 meters above sea level, this white wine is sourced from the Frontemare vineyard—a site noted for its maritime influence. It is part of a dual single‐vineyard project, with its counterpart being Frontebosco, and represents the first release of its sister wine from this initiative. Winemaking practices are designed to reflect the unique interplay between the volcanic soils of Etna and coastal terroir, emphasizing structural integrity and longevity. The wine is presented under the Etna Bianco Superiore Contrada Praino Frontemare label.
