2022 Maugeri Etna Bianco Superiore Contrada Praino 'Frontemare'

The Frontemare is a single-vineyard Etna Bianco Superiore from Contrada Praino, produced from 100% Carricante grown on the volcano's sea-facing eastern slope at elevations of 700 to 900 meters. This vineyard site is part of a dual single-vineyard project alongside its counterpart Frontebosco. The wine showcases the distinctive volcanic minerality and chalky character of its maritime-influenced terroir, displaying citrus and soft green herb notes, chalky and mineral characters with a lovely transparency and fine finish. Ageworthy, with the potential to develop additional mid-palate weight over time.
