2022 Pino Roman Naranjo

A 50/50 blend of Muscat of Alexandria and Torontel from Eliana Sanhueza's 3.5 hectare vineyard in Trehuaco, Itata Valley's coastal range in southern Chile. The 60+ year old, own-rooted vines grow on granitic soils at 161 meters above sea level. Hand-harvested grapes were destemmed and spontaneously fermented in very old Chilean amphora with 10 months of skin contact, producing an orange wine. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal added SO2.
