2022 Plaisance Penavayre Bouysselet VDF Blanc

Bouysselet is a rare local white variety endemic to Villaudric, rediscovered by Château La Colombière on a small patch of pre-phylloxera vines. Its parents are Savagnin from Jura and Plant de Cauzette from Béarn. Only a few hectares of this forgotten grape exist today in the appellation and worldwide. The vineyard sits at 220m altitude on clay-limestone soils with rounded gravels and cobbles from alluvial deposits of the Tarn river.
