2022 Puy de L'Ours Savigny-les-Beaune Rouge 1er Cru Les Lavieres

Les Lavières is a 1er Cru 100% Pinot Noir produced at Domaine Le Puy de L'Ours in Savigny-lès-Beaune. Sourced from a 1.61‐hectare parcel planted in 1968 on clay and limestone soils, the grapes are entirely destemmed and first vinified in stainless steel tanks with daily, light pump-overs. The wine then undergoes a controlled barrel aging process—initially in Burgundian oak (and in part in neutral barrels) for about 10 months—which underlines its expression of terroir. Crafted in 2022 by Jean Orsoni and Juliette Puyperoux from certified organic vines, this wine reflects a commitment to traditional winemaking techniques rooted in the unique character of its vineyard.
