2022 Ronchi di Cialla RiNera Schioppettino
Schioppettino, known as "the little gunshot," is one of Italy's most curious native grapes from Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The RiNera bottling from Ronchi di Cialla represents a bright, fresh style of this variety—the estate that rescued Schioppettino from the brink of extinction and continues to produce Italy's finest examples. Vinified and aged in stainless steel to preserve the grape's youthful character, this version emphasizes the variety's natural high acidity, fine tannins, and restrained alcohol.
