2022 Ronchi di Cialla RiNera Schioppettino
Schioppettino, known as "the little gunshot," is one of Italy's most curious indigenous grapes from Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The RiNera bottling from Ronchi di Cialla represents the estate's fresh, youthful expression of this variety they famously rescued from near extinction. Vinified and aged in stainless steel, this version emphasizes the grape's naturally bright character with high acidity and fine tannins. The wine showcases the variety's distinctive spicy, peppery profile alongside vibrant red fruit and floral notes. Superb served lightly chilled or at cellar temperature.
