2022 Sagona Primi Passi

Sagona is run by Daniele Corrotti in Pratomagno, province of Arezzo, Toscana. This small mountain farm sits at 500 meters above sea level in hilly, wild territory surrounded by dry stone walls, part of a diverse ecosystem including vineyards, olive trees, and fruit orchards. Primi Passi is a natural white wine blending Malvasia Lunga (Malvasia bianca) with a small portion of Trebbiano, carrying an I.G.T. designation. The fruit is direct-pressed in steel where it ferments and ages. The cool inland vineyard location at Loro Ciuffenna contributes freshness and structure with mineral character.
