2022 Tameran Vijariego

Tamerán Vijariego Blanco is a white wine produced exclusively from 100% Vijariego blanco grapes grown in the volcanic soils of Gran Canaria. The vineyard’s unique Canarian terroir and sustainable agricultural practices are reflected in the wine’s production methods. Fermentation employs native (autóctonas) yeasts, and the wine is aged in wood—ranging from 9 months in foudres to 10 months in 500‐liter oak barrels—ensuring a precise expression of its volcanic origin. In certain vintages, early harvesting techniques contribute to a profile of low alcohol (approximately 11.1%), low pH, and high acidity.
