2022 Thibaud Boudignon Anjou Blanc

Thibaud Boudignon's Anjou Blanc is a 100% Chenin Blanc from 35 to 40-year-old vines grown at high density on shallow soils of grey schist and rhyolite (volcanic soil). The estate practices biodynamic viticulture, converting from organic farming. Grapes are pressed and vinified separately using indigenous yeasts with no malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged in a combination of 228L, 350L, and 500L barrels with 20% new oak, resulting in a crystalline, pure expression that captures both ripe fruit and terroir-driven elegance and precision. Production is approximately 30,000 bottles.
