2022 Wetzer Kékfrankos
Peter’s Kékfrankos is produced from 20–30–year–old vines. The late–harvested grapes, typically picked from late October into November, are destemmed and fermented in open vats on their skins for 18–22 days with periodic manual punching down. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in barrels and, upon completion, finishes with just over 13% alcohol and a minimal amount of residual sugar.
