2023 Agnanum Bianco Falanghina Sabbia Vulcanica

Falanghina from 100-year-old vines planted in the volcanic soils of the Astroni National Park and Campi Flegrei, west of Naples. The vineyards, located within the crater of Agnano in Campania, are rooted in layered volcanic ash, sandy basalt, and sand soils that impart distinctive minerality to the wine. This historic site features steep terraced vineyards ranging from 60 to 200 years old, tended by Raffaelle Moccia. The unique volcanic terrain and constant Tyrrhenian winds contribute to the wine's characteristic smokey, salty character and crisp profile.
