The grapes are cultivated in the Tricoli vineyard on Salina, an estate distinguished by its triangular layout and situating on a north/northwest slope that overlooks sandy, volcanic soils from an ancient volcano in the Malfa district—the region recognized for its superior vine-growing conditions.
